I'm so happy! I've been looking for this book for years, since I watched Kindred: The Embraced, got hooked, and noticed the credit at the beginning that credited this book as the inspiration for the show. I have looked on rare book searches, and numerous other online sources and then finally last week I chanced a glance at the Amazon page for it and lo, there was a Marketplace copy for sale. New! Yaaaaay!

So in essence this is a rule-free version of the VTM handbook. Unlike the RPG book, this concentrates on the mythology and background essays, rather than character creation and game play. It's a really nice book, and I look forward to exploring it in more depth in the not too distant future.
