When I was 3 years old I had my music revolution. Until that point the only music I'd heard was my father's classical music, which was all very nice but it never really got to the core of me. Then one day I raided the record cabinet and put on this disc with half an apple on the label. It changed my life. I was a rock chick from that moment on, and it wasn't long before I found punk. It all began with The Beatles, and they'll always have a very special place in my heart.

Recently I've decided I'm going to try and start where my GCSE music lessons left off and try and learn to play the guitar again. I used to be able to strum along to a fair few songs, including a few Beatles numbers, but I've forgotten everything I ever learned and now I'm back at square one. I bought this book in anticipation of a time sometime in the future when I can bash out a few chords and have a sing along to the songs that touched me as a child.
