Molly Meredith, post-baby, and post-sylphlike, has always known her handsome husband Joe was adopted. And when Joe decides he'd like to find his real mother, Molly's delighted to help him.

Except that his real mum turns out to be Stella Milton, a siren and a sexpot who looks better at forty-five than Molly does at twenty-five. As Stella sweeps Joe off to a world of glamour and sophistication, modest Molly finds she must vamp it up and fight Stella on her own terms...even if that means exposing secrets Stella would much rather stayed in the cupboard.

Baby come Back is a fresh and funny look at what happens when a girl's worst enemy is her husbands mother...

I bought this a while ago whilst on a contemporary fiction kick, leading on from reading Bookends earlier this year. I have to admit I'm not jumping for joy at the prospect of reading this one, but it could be funny, so I'll give it a try and see where it goes.
