Blue was the fist character I knowingly saw Michael Madsen play, in an old episode of Quantum Leap. I saw him a few times and was always impressed by the strength of his portrayals, not to mention he was pretty damn sexy as Blood in Fixing The Shadows! It wasn't until I saw him play the now renowned Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs that I realized that he also had a really dark and interesting approach to humor in his roles. The ear scene...we all know it, but I still can't help but chuckle at Mike's little dance before he went psycho. The humor was once more at the fore in the short lived, but hugely entertaining, Vengeance Unlimited. His dark and engaging style makes him a firm favourite of mine.
