Two words; Twin Peaks. This guy is a genius, his comic timing is just perfect and his characterization of Agt. Dale Cooper was one of the quintessential images of the '90's. Without Cooper there would be no Mulder. Since his work on Twin Peaks Kyle MacLachlan's career hasn't reached those dizzying height again, though he has continued to make fine films with really interesting characters.
